Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) / Anti Sexual Harassment Cell
As per the guidelines of UGC, Harassment Complaints Committee Ref: Letter (Ms) No.121, dated: 22.06.2018, Higher Education (K2) Department, Government of Tamil Nadu and the Supreme Court, Anti Sexual Harassment Cell has been established by PERI College of Arts and Science to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the staff and students of the College. The Cell is well-designed with its distinct objectives that are implemented to uphold zero tolerance towards sexual harassment.
It addresses every complaint of the students, teaching and non-teaching staff members with utmost care and attention and the problem is resolved within the shortest time period possible. The Cell follows a systematic procedure in filing, investigating and resolving the issue and impartial towards anyone to safeguard the integrity, privacy and rights of every person.
Objectives:
To fulfill the directive of the Supreme Court, as per UGC directives and the University of Madras in respect of implementing policy against sexual harassment in the institution
